Our Story

You might be asking yourself - “Why call your business BHaRN Farm?”

Inside our barn is where we farm year round using our vertical hydroponic grow systems. We use the space to grow food, engage with the community and exchange various goods and services. Everything is centered around the barn.

Now you must be wondering - “Why spell it BHaRN Farm?”

“BHaRN” stands for Blythe, Harper, Ryan, Nellie (our first Livestock Guardian Dog).

Our dream is to share our lifestyle and our land with all who appreciate a simpler way of living. Our mission is to be a self-sustaining farm and an agricultural tourism destination by providing an array of experiences, products and educational opportunities.

Now a little bit about us - Ryan grew up in Boise while Blythe grew up in Lake Tahoe. Ryan spent all his weekends in McCall when he was younger. We both grew up immersed in the mountains and their surrounding lakes. Over the years we have both developed an intense calling to spend our time living off of the land. We moved to Donnelly to set down our roots and live our dream. It has been a lot of work to establish the property from nothing but a falling down cabin. However, all the blood, sweat and tears have been totally worth it!
